Description and Personality:
Will is a tall and lean kid standing at an even 6 feet. His skin is slightly pale with some freckles scattered throughout. He wears his brown hair pretty short, but his beard, when he grows it out, is a reddish-bronze. He normally wears very simple clothing due to his upbringing in a poor family. All in all, he's a pretty normal looking kid. Will doesn't stress out very easily, loves to laugh and tell jokes, and enjoys hanging out with friends. He is very supportive of the friends he has, keeping the secrets they confide in him and offering them words of motivation or advice when they need it. Will always makes time for his friends.

Powers:
When he started puberty, Will began to develop the power of teleportation through a sort of spirit projection. Will's mind and soul can step out of his body and move around almost like a ghost. While in this state, his body goes into something of a low power mode while the rest of him wanders. Will can still see the world as he normally would while in his spirit state, but he can also move through thin walls, is completely invisible, and has limited flying. The only drawback Will knows of while he is in this spirit state is that his thought processes slow down to a slug's crawl because he doesn't have the wiring of his brain to assist in organizing his thoughts, since he leaves his body behind during these spirit projections. Once he finds an appropriate spot where he wants to materialize, Will calls out to his body, and that is when the actual teleportation happens. In an instant, his body teleports to his location and merges back with his mind and soul. Will has really only explored his powers enough to find all of the basic limitations and capabilities of his spirit walking and teleportation, but he's excited to learn of more interesting applications of his power while attending the Academy.

Biography:
Will was born and raised on a small farm just a little ways away from a village out in the mountainous countryside. His early life was spent helping his father with the crops and his mother with the chores around the house. Will was an only child until he was 7 years old, when his mother gave birth to his little sister, Olivia, whom Will instantly loved and grew very protective of. The development Will's powers first showed when he started having weird episodes of what he thought to be sleep walking, but everyone quickly realized something more was happening when Will suddenly materialized in the living room one night while his dad was smoking his evening pipe by the fire. Since this is a world where magic is not unheard of, his parents were never freaked out by his powers after the first night, but they also didn't really embrace them or urge him to explore his abilities since the most pressing matters were to keep the farm running and profitable.
It wasn't until Will accidentally hurt Olivia with his powers that his parents decided to send him somewhere where he could train and understand his gift. Ever since she was old enough to understand the concept of magic and Will's powers, Olivia was fascinated by it, always asking Will to teleport so she could watch laughing gleefully while he did. One day, while Will's spirit was making its way to the roof of their small house, Olivia grabbed the hand of Will's body, hoping that maybe she would be taken along for the ride when it teleported to his spirit. Instead, most of the skin off her palm and fingers vanished when Will's body teleported to the roof. Thankfully, her hand did not get infected due to their parents quick medical attention, but the abundance of scar tissue makes Olivia's left hand difficult to use now. Will doesn't fully blame himself for what happened, but it is still one of his biggest regrets, and he's determined to learn everything he can about his power so that something similar doesn't happen again.

-Dishonesty
-Snooty and aloof people. Will has no problem recognizing when someone has more authority than he does or even authority over him, a teacher or the head master being a good example, but when someone treats him or really anyone else like they are worth very little to none, he can't stand that.
-Swarming and stinging insects (He had an awful experience with a yellow jacket nest at a young age)
-Hard alcohol
-When people are unreliable, though he won't hate them for it unless it involves something very important

How many classes I want to take will depend on what The Academy considers a full schedule for a student. I for sure want to be enrolled in Martial Arts and Self Defense, Magical Curriculum, and Power Combination and Theory. Depending on how Will's powers evolve as he grows and learns, I would like to add The Physics of the Multiverse and Applied Spiritual Studies in the later years.

you can basically take as many as you think he could handle, and of course you don't necessarily have to rp the classes themselves. taking more at a later date is fine too it's very open, we would generally suggest three or four but just one or even all of them would be fine if it's more suitable for your character.
